Get Ready! Get Set! For the 12th Annual Art & Sole 5k race that will take place on Saturday, June 8, 2019, at 9 am. Over 500 runners and walkers registered last year, and more than 20 teams competed.
The Neighborhood Art House Art & Sole 5k is a unique event in several ways. The race begins at the Art House and loops through Downtown Erie, with racers sprinting right up State Street looking towards the Lake. They finish running uphill ending back at the Neighborhood Art House. Not many races take place in downtown and it's a great way for runners to experience the neighborhood the Art House serves. In addition to the uncommon race route, the winners take home artwork created by the students of the Neighborhood Art House.
