News Around the Art House

Dearest Readers –

The town is abuzz with the latest gossip, your faithful intrepid reporter has trader in her press credentials for the sandy beaches of Hawaii.  But never fear, my name is Lady Whistlenote, and if there is a story about Inner-City Neighborhood Art House, I shall uncover it.

Which brings us to the first event of the season, the Art & Sole 5k Run/Walk! The weather was nearly perfect with clear azure skies, wispy white clouds, and a gentle lake breeze.  With a total of 226 runners and walkers in attendance, Michael Williamson clocked in at an impressive 17:20, while Katie Kuttenfuler was not far behind with a time of 20:19.  For a full run-down of the races results, chick here http://runhigh.com/2023RESULTS/R051323DB.html

After the last walker crossed the finished line, the 12 & under youth began their 1k race up State Street and back down to the Art House.  C. Wolf and Otto, the pack leaders, did their very best to ensure the children didn’t get lost along the way.

Last but not least, there was more fun to be had with family-fun activities such as face painting, chalk art, life-size Jenga, cornhole, and much more.

According to all the talk around town, this event could not have been possible without all the remarkable sponsors and volunteers! Cheers!

Yours Truly,

Lady Whistlenote
