News Around the House 4-8-22

It is another fun-packed week here in the Neighborhood House of Art! And much to the surprise of this humble (and yet intrepid) reporter, the end (of the semester) is near! The next week will be a little quieter in these hallowed halls, as the darling young artistic scholars will be taking some time off in honor of the spring - one might even call it spring break.

This week saw a return of the very popular printmaking class, taught by our inimitable community art director, Sarah Everett. Tuesdays also are hopping quite literally with Dana Borczon's adult exercise classes. And everything that could possibly happen on a Saturday was happening this Saturday. There was fishing at Presque Isle, and the second Saturday series had two events - egg painting and crane folding. The cranes are to be part of a thousand cranes for peace in Ukraine and in our world, and they will be displayed the first week of May. This intrepid reporter is looking forward to reporting on scene.
