Greetings fair art enthusiasts! Your intrepid reporter reporting for duty (what else would a reporter do, after all?). Here at the Inner-City Neighborhood Art House we are a little bit quieter during this brief pause between terms, but by no means are we silent! Tuesdays are particularly exciting! There are two sessions Tuesday mornings of exercises and stretching, led by the enthusiastic Dana Borczon, that has some committed participants that this intrepid reporter has seen here week after week - sure evidence this is a great class! Also on Tuesday mornings is "Open Studio" where the Art House welcomes in adult artists and art enthusiasts from Erie to come work on independent projects in a supportive and congenial atmosphere. If you want to join in the fun, this link (https://www.neighborhoodarthouse.org/events) will show you how to register. Be sure to tell them that Old Intrepid sent you!

Thursday was painting class with the energetic and talented Leslie Ford, who taught us all to paint trees - though as you see from the picture, her class was a little disobedient. She took this all in stride though, and all had an enjoyable and educational evening. Many comments overheard by Intrepid while she painted her own tree (which included a surprise crow, for some reason), expressed a hope that the class would be repeated soon! Looking forward, the next big event is a two-part class, June 9th and 16th. Joe Kroll says he can teach anyone to draw! I say we put his claim to the test! Pre-registration is required, so since this report is at an end, go here (https://www.neighborhoodarthouse.org/events/details/learn-to-draw) to find out all the details.
